Short CV:

Simon Blätgen is a PhD-Candidate within the Research Group "The International Rule of Law - Rise or Decline?". His main research interests are public international law, the role of the individual in it as well as value- concepts in international law.

Simon graduated from law school in 2015 by obtaining the "first state examination" after studying in Berlin and Paris. During his studies, he took part in the "National Model United Nations" programme 2011 in New York City and later specialised ("Schwerpunktbereich") in public international law and European law.
